- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor

- Participate in the care of patients involved in in-utero fetal surgeries , including pre-operative, intra-operative, post-operative, and continuing care for both mother and fetus
- Contribute to our system-leading OB Hypertension program
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in our recognized Fetal Surgery Center
- Strong OR skills - OR experience is essential for this role
- Experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery is highly preferred - our acuity level is high and fast-paced
- Ability to adapt and float to Postpartum as needed
- Passion for maternal-fetal health and complex OB care
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent clinical judgment

Note:
Differentials are applied in addition to base pay as applicable per shift worked.
- Current RN Licensure (state applicable)
- BLS & NRP certifications required
- ACLS preferred
- Prior Labor & Delivery and/or OR experience strongly preferred
- High-risk OB experience preferred
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
COREFUNCTIONS
Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient's status.
Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
