American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active AZ or compact license and Trauma Level III facility experience.

• Emergency Department setting in a 38-bed unit
• Trauma Level III certified, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12s)
• Uses Cerner EMR, experience required
• Must be willing to float

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
• Charge nurse experience preferred

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process and critical thinking skills
• Delegate and supervise patient care based on staff education and experience
• Black scrub color dress code
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local travelers accepted
• Returning travelers not considered if they worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
