American Traveler is hiring a MS/Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring an AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Med/Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Float pool position requiring willingness to work between multiple departments and facilities
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Requires working 6 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) shifts over a 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Active driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned staff
• Must be willing to float between multiple facilities within the health system
• Any scrub color permitted
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local travelers not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Previous perm staff employment at any facility within the health system in the last 2 years disqualifies candidates from consideration
