We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Associate Director RN of Pediatric Oncology & Hematology to join our frontline leadership team. This is an exempt, frontline leadership position
, primarily scheduled Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
, with flexibility as unit needs require. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational oversight of the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology unit, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and team excellence. You will partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding outcomes for our youngest and most vulnerable patients.
Unit Management
– Oversee day-to-day operations of the Pediatric Oncology & Hematology unit, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe patient care deliveryStaffing & Workforce Planning
– Manage staffing models, scheduling, recruitment, and retention strategies to maintain optimal unit performanceQuality & Safety
– Champion quality improvement initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and lead efforts to maintain and exceed regulatory and accreditation standardsBehavioral Standards & Team Culture
– Model and reinforce Banner Health's values and professional behaviors; cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environmentStaff Development
– Support ongoing education, professional growth, and engagement of all unit team membersInterdisciplinary Collaboration
– Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, child life specialists, and other care team members to deliver holistic, coordinated careStrategic Leadership
