Role
Provides specialized wound care nursing services in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
ResponsibilitiesImplements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient condition, coordinates discharge planning, and documents care. Acts as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Performs comprehensive assessments, identifies patient issues, sets measurable goals, and develops care plans. Implements treatments, administers medications, educates patients and families, and evaluates care effectiveness, adjusting plans as needed. Engages in care coordination, delegation, supervision, and prioritization to optimize patient outcomes.
QualificationsGraduated from an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Holds a valid Arizona or compact state nursing license, BLS certification, and any other required certifications. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
SkillsStrong clinical judgment, communication, coordination, and documentation skills necessary for delivering high-quality wound care and fostering effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
