American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring an AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Float pool position covering Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Telemetry units
• Must be willing to float between departments and across four facilities within the health system
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state practice standards and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care
• Delegate care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned staff
• Any scrub color accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if candidate worked as permanent staff at any facility within the health system in the past 2 years
