RN - PACU

Arizona

This is a 13-week contract position.

8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, with varying days off and call. Must be available for 3-4 call shifts per 4-week schedule.

The Registered Nurse will be working primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The role demands quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment and includes responsibilities in both Pre-op and PACU settings.

• Manage and monitor patients in the PACU, ensuring a safe transition from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate patient progress and respond to any complications or emergency situations.

• Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
