We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis for a local contract position.
Key responsibilities- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for dialysis patients
- Administering hemodialysis treatments according to protocols
- Monitoring patients for complications and responding to adverse reactions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Educating patients and families on treatment and lifestyle management
- Maintaining accurate documentation and operating dialysis equipment
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring infection control
- Providing emotional support and advocacy for patients
- Staying updated on nephrology nursing practices
- Active RN license in the practice state
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis or nephrology nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
- Proficiency in dialysis procedures and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
Preferred certifications:
Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN). Benefits include weekly pay, holiday pay, 401(k), and referral bonuses.
