We are hiring experienced Postpartum RNs for a travel assignment at a high-acuity hospital in Tucson, Arizona
.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Postpartum RN who is comfortable working in a large, busy hospital environment and providing care to postpartum patients with varying levels of acuity.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients throughout the post-delivery period.
Monitor maternal and newborn status and identify changes requiring intervention.
Perform postpartum assessments and monitor vital signs, pain, bleeding, and recovery.
Support patients with breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum education.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, lactation consultants, and other members of the care team.
Provide patient and family education related to postpartum recovery, medications, warning signs, and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Work effectively in a high-acuity hospital environment while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.
RequirementsActive RN license eligible to work in Arizona.
Minimum 2 years of recent Postpartum RN experience.
High-acuity hospital experience required.
Experience in a large hospital environment strongly preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple patients and changing clinical priorities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
.
Must be available for the full contract period.
