Description:
ER RN position available with a 36-hour guarantee. The unit features 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room observation unit. There are 6 fast-track beds for minor, non-urgent issues. A seclusion room and an additional 5 monitored rooms are also available. This facility is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. The nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:3 or 1:4.
On average, 100 patients are seen per day. Support staff includes 5 technicians during peak hours. Common patient types include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases. The electronic medical record system used is Allscripts. The medication system in place is Omnicell. Scrub color is flexible, except all black, and scrubs are not provided.
