The Quality Control Associate will support testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in a regulated laboratory environment.
The role involves documenting results, reviewing quality records, and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, cGMP, and other regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Document and review test results, batch records, and quality reports
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support corrective actions
- Maintain lab equipment, records, and environment in compliance with regulations
- Conduct environmental monitoring and basic lab maintenance tasks
- Support reagent preparation and sample testing activities
- Assist with data analysis, process monitoring, and reporting
- Participate in audits, validations, and quality system improvements
- Follow safety, GMP, and company procedures at all times
- Support continuous improvement and lean/6S activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in training new staff
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred
- Experience in regulated lab or manufacturing environment preferred
- Must follow strict safety and quality standards (GMP/ISO/FDA)
- Requires PPE (gown, gloves, mask, safety glasses, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical lab work
- May require shift work and overtime
