Quality Control Inspector

Pay Rate : $23/HR On W2 + Full Benefits.

• Conduct inspections of products, materials, and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Participate in gathering statistical data from product and processes.
• Perform visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC‑A‑610 standards, and harness assemblies.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
• Identify design, process or other inefficiencies and report quality concerns and issues.
• Maintain inspection records.
• Create and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) IAW AS9102.

Education:

A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certifications:

Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in related field beneficial.

Experience:

2+ years of relevant experience (Aerospace and Electronics environments preferred). Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision.

Able to apply a systematic QA approach while using existing procedures to solve a range of technical issues.

Skilled at using measuring equipment as prescribed by job assignment.

Must have knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, assembly drawings, parts lists, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, wiring diagrams and be able to add tolerances using decimals, etc. Technical knowledge of Aerospace standards for First Article Inspection Reports, AS9102.

Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches.
