Senior Design Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority in supplier and factory quality
• Drive quality improvement initiatives for RFT products
• Influence technical direction and mentor engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align quality requirements
• Lead collaboration with suppliers to improve fabrication performance
• Resolve component challenges and critical internal factory issues
• Communicate progress and results to internal partners and team members

• Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Engineering program
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership
• Experience mentoring engineers
• Strong understanding of End-to-End Built-In Quality (E2E BIQ) processes
• Experience collaborating with manufacturers or suppliers to optimize designs
• Demonstrated experience in executing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Ability to engage subject matter experts for technical issue resolution
• Experience with project management in cross-functional initiatives

Demonstrates expertise in supplier and factory quality management, with a strong focus on End-to-End Built-In Quality (E2E BIQ) processes and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers to drive quality improvement initiatives.
