Associate Test Engineer, Manufacturing

The Test Manufacturing Associate Engineer repairs and improves manual and automated test equipment and supports programs that are used for product testing and design verification.

Hourly rate + Shift Premium, Eligible for OT and Eligible for quarterly bonuses.

• Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.
• Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield.
• Debug solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied.
• Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid unstinting of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
• Maintain with minimal supervision the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.
• Required to be onsite.

• Strong knowledge of Linux preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, soldering irons, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generator, ICT, flying probe).
• Required knowledge of electrical test equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

• 5-8 years' experience in testing equipment.

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
