Coyote Missile On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL)

Tucson, AZ (no relocation offered)
Responsible for driving a robust quality culture and ensuring all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements are met for Coyote portfolio programs. Serves as the primary quality interface for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Leadership Team.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with functional IPTs and oversee scope of work through all integrated product development phases, from design to production and sustainment.
- Act as the internal customer advocate, ensuring obligations and expectations are met.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues.
- Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/AS9145) implementation.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB), Change Control Board (CCB), and Risk Review Board (RRB).
- Ensure reviews and assessments of program performance (technical, cost, schedule, risk, defects) are performed.
- Define and implement Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience (or 7 years with an advanced degree) in Program/Project Quality Management, Quality Planning, QA, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
- Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action.
- Technical program support experience for manufacturing and/or design processes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret clearance required).
- U.S. citizenship.
- STEM degree.
- Self‑starter who drives success with minimal direction.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certification.
- Experience reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and interfacing directly with customers.
- Experience presenting and approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
- Risk mitigation and opportunity management experience.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspections per AS9102.
- Experience with rockets/missiles, electro‑optical/radar systems, electrical systems testing, and ESD requirements.
- Experience with cost accounting methodologies (Earned Value).
Requires a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance, available immediately. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Salary & BenefitsSalary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD, depending on experience.
