Valuations Analyst

Valuations Analyst – 100% Remote

House Buyers of America is looking for a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) who will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA must be able to determine a reliable estimate of market value for prospective deals to be used by House Buyers of America in determining whether to acquire a residential property.

In addition to acquisitions, the VA must also be able to determine a reliable pricing strategy to sell properties that have been acquired by House Buyers.

• Determine the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all of the properties that we acquire and determine the turnaround times for dispositions
• Partner with the Sales and Construction Departments regarding pricing decisions, budget and the scope of work for the overall construction strategy
• Value properties across the entire US and ensure the accuracy of all valuations
• Meet the turnaround objectives for all valuations and ensure that properties do not sit too long on the market
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Do anything else necessary to help the company meet its goals

• 3 years minimum experience required in residential property valuations/underwriting
• Have an appraisal license or have completed all appraisal coursework (preferred)
• Have a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Have amazing computer skills and pick up new technology quickly!
