ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate III/Senior Research Associate (Stability) with a technology company. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Tucson, AZ. This is an onsite position

Summary:

This role is responsible for conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities. The successful candidate will design experimental plans, execute bench experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports. This position requires the ability to work independently on complex problems, exercising judgment in developing methods and evaluation criteria to obtain results.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation
• Design experimental plans to support project objectives
• Execute bench experiments, making detailed and general observations and analyzing data
• Prepare technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses
• Act independently to develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
• Identify and implement improvements to work processes and the laboratory environment
• Work on complex problems requiring an evaluation of intangible variables
• Participate in or lead cross-functional technical teams
• Work effectively in a team environment, suggesting creative solutions and providing input to project planning
• Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective action
• Prepare and present experimental procedures and results to group and project teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• For Research Associate III: A minimum of 4 years of relevant post-college experience
• For Senior Research Associate: A minimum of 6 years of relevant post-college experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1 year of experience with a Master's degree
• Candidates with less than 4 years of post-college experience will not be considered
• Candidates with a Ph.D. are considered overqualified for this role

Desired skills:

• Previous industry experience
• Experience with IHC (Immunohistochemistry) and ISH (In situ hybridization)

Pay range: Up to $42.54 per Hour
