Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate III or Senior Research Associate to support research, development, and laboratory experimentation activities for diagnostic assay and product development projects. The successful candidate will contribute to experimental design, execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional project support in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experimental plans to support project objectives and timelines.
- Perform laboratory experiments and generate high-quality, reproducible data.
- Make detailed observations, analyze results, and draw scientific conclusions.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, presentations, and quantitative analyses.
- Develop and optimize laboratory methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
- Identify and implement improvements to laboratory processes and work environments.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze complex scientific problems and recommend solutions based on data‑driven evaluations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to support project goals.
- Participate in or lead technical teams, including failure investigations and project core teams.
- Present experimental procedures, findings, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and adhere to established quality and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a life sciences discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience after completion of a bachelor’s degree.
- Hands‑on industry experience with IHC and ISH techniques.
- Strong laboratory skills in experimental execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience documenting scientific work and preparing technical reports.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting assay development, product development, or diagnostic research programs.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and regulated environments.
- Experience working on cross‑functional scientific projects.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Pay range: $30 - $36/hour on W2 as per your experience.
Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension.
