Postdoctoral I Fellowship in Methadone Treatment
Postdoctoral I Fellow will support research focused on patient-centered, trauma-informed methadone treatment for opioid use disorder with specialization in implementation science and community based participatory action research (CBPAR). The position will contribute to the dissemination of results from current and future projects. This position is housed within the Harm Reduction Research Lab at the University of Arizona in the College of Nursing.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with the research team to implement the national trial of Methadone Patient Access to Collaborative Treatment (MPACT).
- Work as a member of a national research team to characterize the implementation of MPACT.
- Work with the research team to implement national studies of experience in methadone treatment and preferences for treatment and clinician training with a CBPAR orientation.
- Advance the research through dissemination of results: writing of manuscripts.
- Advance the research through dissemination of results: presentations.
- Development of extramural funding opportunity proposals including, but not limited to a K99/R00.
- Work closely with study personnel as they manage, clean and analyze incoming data.
- Gain competence in statistical analysis software and qualitative analysis software.
- Participate in trainings with T32 Post-doc Fellows at the University.
- Participate in other training specialized in implementation science, CBPAR and patient centered outcomes research.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Superior ability to prepare, write, edit, and revise research reports for publication (as evidenced by publications or submitted manuscripts in peer reviewed journals).
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD. in Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work or health-related field by the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual English and Spanish. Lived experience with opioid use disorder and opioid use disorder treatment.
