The James
C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking applicants to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate position specializing in extreme NLO Interactions in semiconducting materials.

Duties & Responsibilities- The successful candidate will be required to pursue research in semiconductor many-body theory and extreme nonlinear optics.
- Develop new computational strategies to port multi-dimensional integrodifferential equations,describing higher order scattering/correlations to specialist large scaleGPU hardware.
- Carry out independent research, work closely with colleagues and disseminate research through publications.
- Ph.D in Physics, Applied Mathematics or arelated field upon hire.
- Preference will be given to candidates having a strong record in developing novel computational strategies to solve complex physics problems with relevant experience in nonlinear analysis of pdes and parallel computation.
