Under the direction of the Thrift Store Manager, performs the day-to-day eBay operations of the HSSA Thrift Store which supports the organization’s mission.

• Develop and implement effective online marketing strategies to increase overall store sales by utilizing the eBay online marketplace.
• Optimize product listings with high-quality images and compelling descriptions to grow online sales.
• Research market trends and identify profitable product categories.
• Provide exceptional online customer service, resulting in high customer satisfaction ratings and positive online feedback.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
• Negotiate shipping costs and optimize shipping methods to minimize expenses.
• Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Analyze sales data to identify best-selling products and optimize pricing strategies.
• Manage online eBay store site with a high level to attract more visitors.
• Achieve a 4.9/5-star seller rating.
• Perform customer service to the standards set forth in HSSA’s employee manual.
• Refer all customer service complaints to the store manager to ensure that Best Practices are followed and maintained.
• Creates eBay listings including detailed item descriptions.
• Photographs, tests, cleans and prepares items to sell.
• Handles customer inquiries.
• Records all transactions and costs.
• Reports sales.
• Conduct internet based research of items.
• Drives HSSA vehicle in performance of Thrift Store business.
• May train and supervise volunteers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience managing online marketplace sales, including creating and optimizing product listings, managing inventory, pricing strategy, and order fulfillment on eBay or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated proficiency with eBay seller tools and reporting, including SKU management, listing analytics, and customer communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume online sales environment.
• Experience analyzing sales data and implementing basic pricing or promotional strategies to improve sell-through rates.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working skills in maintaining records.
• Good working knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Simple business mathematics.
• Computer proficiency.
• Possession of a valid Arizona driver’s license and driving record acceptable to HSSA insurance carrier.

• Experience with additional online selling platforms (e.g., Poshmark, Mercari, Amazon).
• Knowledge of online marketplace SEO and pricing strategies.
• Experience with photo editing or template creation tools for product listings.
