Overview

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate role offers hourly pay plus commission. Compensation varies by location and experience. Primary duties involve customer service, processing sales and loans, and engaging with customers in a pawn and retail environment.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures and keep the sales floor clean and stocked.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items following established procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards and communicate legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and perform other duties as needed.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves engaging with customers and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution, across a variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, and jewelry. The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

The exact pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, climbing, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (as applicable to location).
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

• Commission:
  Potential to earn 2–8% commission based on personal performance; details shared during interview.

  Hourly wage with compensation for transactions; some stores may have varied hours (most stores open 9 AM–6 PM; Sundays may be closed).
