Position SummaryDo you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families.
You may need to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. - Prepare fresh food items daily following recipes.
- Wrap, label, and store merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, temperature control, and verify expiration dates.
- Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food to customers.
- Assist with bakery orders and claim handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
