Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked, rotating product, maintaining food safety standards, moving incoming merchandise to the sales floor, and ensuring displays are properly maintained throughout the day. Full responsibilities are listed below.
Responsibilities- Work in the deli area, providing customer service and ensuring a friendly experience.
- Assist customers and help celebrate special occasions in the bakery, including cake customization.
- Ensure customers find desired products in the dry grocery department.
- Maintain detailed cleaning of shelves and department, checking temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food.
- Help customers find products they are looking for.
- Ensure high‑quality products are available across produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
- Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
- Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
- Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
- Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
