Retail Store Manager
$19.50 to $26.98 per hour
We are seeking a Store Manager with at least 2 years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store, create a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, and recruit and retain top talent. The role focuses on maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations, ensuring asset protection, and promoting the company’s values.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Assist in the training of employees to meet the company’s standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‐prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
- Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed company expectations.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
- Complete assigned training and tasks for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of performing tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
- Willing to assist customers outside the store and in exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs and are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.
- Strong multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

- Competitive hourly rate with the opportunity for a lucrative monthly bonus based on store performance.
- Earned Wage Access—withdraw up to 50% of earned wages up to seven times per payroll cycle after the second day of employment.
- Unlimited commission above hourly base rate.
- Paid vacation: one week after six months of service; an additional week after one year; two weeks on each subsequent anniversary (subject to state/local requirements).
- Sick/Personal: eight hours after six months, then 16 hours each anniversary (years 2–5), with adjustments per state/local law.
