About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will create a welcoming and engaging in-store experience, guide customers in designing products that fit their style and space, and lead a team to deliver extraordinary service.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of Associates, encouraging growth and big thinking.
  • Create a respectful and inclusive environment, welcoming and celebrating differences.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor and develop Associates to achieve results.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the team using Lovesac’s selling process.
  • Guide customers from first interest through to transaction, managing quotes, closing sales and maintaining post‑purchase relationships.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and educate customers on features and benefits.
  • Build long-term relationships, brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure store visual appeal aligns with brand standards.
  • Manage store operations: opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, POS, marketing, promotions and ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Champion company policies and procedures to maintain consistency, safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain proficiency in company tools, systems and in-store technology.
  • Analyze data to drive team behavior and meet key performance indicators.
  • Manage the store P&L, applying business and financial concepts to drive profitability.
  • Build a culture of accountability, meeting sales goals and service standards.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues, escalating to supervisor when needed.
  • Resolve conflicts to maintain a positive environment.
  • Support additional responsibilities requested by Management.
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High‑School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient with technology for sales and customer support, including product demos and CRM use.
  • Ability to work in-store, support omni-channel experience and assist in remote shifts.
  • Must travel as required to local stores, third‑party vendors and mandatory meetings.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions and sensitive data.
  • Strong communication and conflict-reolution skills.
  • Physical ability to move furniture up to 75 pounds, lift, bend, kneel, reach and perform required tasks.
