Hourly rate: $16.50 – $26.76 (based on job, location, and schedule).

As a Selling and Support Captain, you are an advocate for the customer and a role model for your colleagues. You will lead, motivate, and support a team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.

• Fulfill customer orders, mentor colleagues, and supervise the selling floor to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Execute and complete assigned tasks, and provide people leaders with feedback that drives a positive customer experience and improves store processes.
• Promote the Macy’s mobile app and contribute to in‑store merchandising standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, manage the alarm system, and settle registers.
• Educate colleagues on point‑of‑sale technology, radio‑frequency equipment, and applications for selling and fulfillment.
• Foster an inclusive environment that strengthens relationships with customers, colleagues, and communities.

• Flexible with availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communicator who can give clear direction and provide excellent customer service.
• Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing expectations, priorities, and deadlines.
• Possesses 1–2 years of direct retail experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Position requires lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours and lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Regular use of computers, handheld equipment, and a cash register for processing transactions.
