The National Sales Assistant supports the National sales team’s efforts by taking ownership of fulfillment so that the AE can focus on client-facing opportunities and closing revenue. The Sales Assistant manages day‑to‑day account responsibilities to ensure proper implementation of solutions, provides superior customer service across Broadcast Television and Digital, and drives sales by retaining and growing clients. This role reports to the National Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to assigned Account Executives on post‑sale activity including campaign implementation, maintenance, and review.
  • Interact daily with existing advertising agencies and direct clients; maintain client schedules on television and digital and implement special projects and promotions.
  • Work in tandem with Account Executives and the National Sales Manager to support client needs.
  • Attend sales meetings and training to gain product and process knowledge and keep abreast of company offerings to articulate to clients when appropriate.
  • Assist designated Account Executives with contract maintenance, avails traffic, make‑goods collection, and overall customer service.
  • Track client audience delivery using ratings, impressions, and KPIs to monitor campaign fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with the team to set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry, and revisions.
Requirements
  • 1‑3 years of account management in a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • Track record of successfully retaining and growing clients.
  • Knowledge of broadcasting and digital marketing solutions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and digital advertising solutions is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience using CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • Able to make decisions and solve problems independently to support customer needs.
  • Self‑motivation and a willingness to work as a team player are essential.
  • Creative, flexible, and able to adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
