Job Summary
The Pest Control Consultant is responsible for selling Pest Control Company's industry‑leading services and products to new and existing residential customers while maintaining a customer‑focused approach to grow the business.
Responsibilities- Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborages, and points of entry.
- Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for increased opportunities.
- Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams with the current base and service‑specialist engagement.
- Develop proposals to resolve existing pest issues and propose additional enhancements.
- Complete home diagrams using Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of the customer home and potential challenges.
- Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
- Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure the job is completed satisfactorily.
- Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM.
Requires moving up to 10lb regularly and 11–20lb frequently; standing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and walking on narrow or slippery surfaces; climbing stairs, ladders, ropes, and scaffolding; operating a motor vehicle and keeping equipment clean; working in confined spaces such as basements, crawlspaces, and attics while wearing personal protective equipment.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license from your state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- Strong social, customer‑service, and communication skills; 1–2years of pest‑technician or sales experience preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 100% within the assigned territory.
