Position SummaryCreative Machines is seeking a Pursuit Specialist to join our Marketing Department. This business development-focused role helps drive company growth through pursuit coordination, opportunity identification, relationship development, and market research across the public art, corporate art, and placemaking sectors.
The ideal candidate is familiar with the public art, design, architecture, placemaking, or related industries and is naturally curious, relationship-oriented, organized, and proactive. They enjoy identifying opportunities, building professional networks, gathering market intelligence, and helping transform industry relationships into future projects.
This position works closely with company leadership and the Marketing Communications Manager to support project acquisition efforts by identifying strategic opportunities, strengthening industry relationships, coordinating pursuit efforts, and supporting long‑term growth across the public and private sectors.

Primary Responsibilities- Monitor RFQ, RFP, and art registry opportunities.
- Organize opportunity calendars and submission deadlines.
- Maintain procurement platform and portal activity.
- Gather and organize proposal materials.
- Maintain project sheets, resumes, and qualification materials.
- Coordinate proposal assembly and submission processes.
- Maintain proposal archives, opportunity records, and pursuit metrics.
- Track proposal outcomes and support follow‑up activities.
- Research prospective clients, consultants, developers, architects, municipalities, corporations, and industry partners.
- Monitor public art, corporate art, and master planning opportunities.
- Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Track industry developments, competitive activity, and market intelligence.
- Identify strategic targets aligned with company goals and market priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry partners.
- Support outreach and follow‑up efforts with target audiences.
- Coordinate introductory meetings and partnership opportunities.
- Support leadership in strengthening client, consultant, and partner relationships.
- Help cultivate long‑term relationships that lead to future opportunities.
- Maintain CRM and opportunity tracking systems.
- Support pipeline development and reporting.
- Assist with business development initiatives and outreach campaigns.
- Coordinate Linked In engagement and industry visibility efforts.

- Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Manager on initiatives that strengthen Creative Machines’ visibility, positioning, and industry presence.
