$15.75 to $18.50 per hour. Commission structure allows you to earn up to an additional $2.58 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

The Full‑Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate works in a pawn store, handling sales, loans, and customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The role involves engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining the sales floor.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Execute opening, closing, and daily procedures as required.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
- Process sales and loan transactions in compliance with company and regulatory policies.
- Handle cash and negotiable items securely.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy‑back transactions to customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training successfully.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to handle firearms and obtain fire‑arm certification.
- May be required to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from external storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math calculations.
- Prior cash‑handling experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work multiple locations and non‑traditional retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn between 2% and 8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview.
