Bilingual Retail Sales Associate

Cox Communications, Inc. – Retail Sales Associate (Mobile)

Hourly base rate: $19.00/hr plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,471. Targeted total compensation of $57,172 annually; high earners may exceed $74,455.

• Explain and demonstrate Cox product capabilities to customers.
• Offer suggestions based on customers’ wants and needs.
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
• Assist with opening and closing of the store.
• Handle cash transactions properly.
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos.
• Support fellow sales agents as needed.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Report to the Store Manager and follow guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and team specialists.
• May be required to work other locations in the same geographic area.

• Minimum: high school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to meet sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative, solutions‑based selling.
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
• Multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Physical ability to be mobile within the store for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products and services.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Preferred: some college experience in sales, business, or management.
• Preferred: one year of experience in a related field (sales, retail sales, service industry).
• Preferred: experience selling wireless/mobile products.
• Preferred: fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
