Territory Information
- Field-based sales covering the Phoenix Mirror territory (includes Las Vegas, NV; Tucson, AZ; Albuquerque & Santa Fe, NM; El Paso, TX). Ideal residence within territory. Travel varies.
- Communicate product information tailored to each customer’s needs; conduct informed discussions with HCPs.
- Serve as primary point of contact for select accounts; meet key personnel to understand practice structure, business model, influencers, customer needs, and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with customer team to develop customer strategy (interactions/relationship, solutions, offerings).
- Share learnings/best practices; focus on better health outcomes for HCPs and patients.
- Provide input on resource allocation; identify/select programs/services from internal resource library.
- Maintain understanding of practice structure/business model/network; influence beyond geography/product area.
- Embrace and maximize new technologies and channels; execute with ethics, integrity, and compliance.
- Execute each stage of the sales process; position HIV products using appropriate patient types and approved resources.
- Stay ahead of market trends; ask strategic questions; segment/target/plan via business analysis.
- Understand HIV payer environment and stakeholder roles; develop and execute account plans; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Manage the Virology portfolio; drive multi-channel engagement; build relationships in “no sample” settings; apply a business-owner mindset.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s + 2 years sales experience OR high school diploma + 6 years equivalent (professional sales/marketing/military/healthcare-scientific non-sales) - Valid driver’s license; travel within territory for customer visits and meetings.
- 2+ years account management/sales with Infectious Disease customers (preference HIV and/or launch experience).
- Specialty sales and/or launch experience; pharma/biotech/medical device sales.
- Experience with regulated environments, complex hospital systems, payer environments (incl. pharmacy stakeholders), and account inter-dependencies.
