We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join a growing national behavioral health treatment provider. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional with an established background in behavioral health business development and experience generating referrals for dual-diagnosis treatment programs.
About the RoleThe BDR will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships, increasing admissions, and expanding our presence within assigned markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, clinicians, interventionists, treatment providers, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals
- Generate qualified Out-of-Network (OON) and In-Network (INN) referrals
- Build a balanced referral pipeline through both organic/community relationships and B2B partnerships
- Conduct regular outreach, meetings, facility visits, networking events, and presentations
- Educate referral partners on our programs, levels of care, clinical services, and admissions process
- Collaborate closely with Admissions and leadership to ensure a seamless referral experience
- Track referral activity, relationships, and market opportunities within the CRM
- Meet established referral, admissions, and business development goals
- Prior behavioral health treatment industry experience is required
- Experience referring OON and INN cases to residential, inpatient, or dual-diagnosis treatment programs
- Established relationships within the behavioral health community strongly preferred
- Experience developing both organic and B2B referral sources
- Strong networking, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to work independently and strategically develop a territory
