Position Highlights: This clinical research coordinator will work collaboratively with a multi‑site research team on the implementation of a process intervention to address nurse burnout funded by a 5‑year grant from the National Institute of Nursing Research. The individual will work under limited supervision, consult with faculty on complex situations, and primarily conduct activities at the Banner Gateway site while assisting with data collection and administrative tasks at remote sites.
On‑site presence is required at the hospital unit for recruitment, intervention delivery, and data collection; otherwise the role is remote.

Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinate the logistics of intervention delivery and data collection for the RESTORE intervention at Banner Gateway, working collaboratively with hospital team members and the research team. Attend intervention delivery sessions.
- Assist with data collection activities, including a repeated measure survey and interviews. For the survey, coordinate with the University of Arizona survey center and the site on recruitment, tracking response rates and rewards, and providing individual survey data back to participants. For interviews, assist with recruitment, scheduling, and data management.
- Remotely assist with study coordination for the Pennsylvania site, including logistics of intervention delivery and data collection.
- Support administrative tasks such as developing and maintaining operating procedures, grant reporting and compliance materials, and participating in team meetings. Mentor, train, and share knowledge with lower‑level staff and students. Liaise with Institutional Review Board and departmental approval processes under supervisor oversight.
Skills and Abilities
- Project management and event logistics skills.
- Excellent communication and strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with intervention studies, recruiting nurses or other healthcare professionals for studies, or a degree in project management.
- At least two years of relevant work experience with patient interaction in a clinical setting and/or in a clinical research study.
- Program coordination experience for research studies.
- Experience with IRB, grant reporting, and REDCap surveys.
