BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate II – Cytology to join our client’s site in Tucson, AZ. This role will support research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation for projects.

The position involves designing, executing, and interpreting experiments and applying technical expertise toward project strategies. The Research Associate II will prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses, present results to the team, and maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with company policies, including GMP, GLP, and Design Control.

• Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision, including making observations and analyzing data.
• Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.
• Contribute process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.
• Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle.
• Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problems.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science.

• Capable of searching scientific literature.
• Skilled with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

• Experience handling cytology specimens.
• Experience preparing cytology slides using the Hologic T2000 or BD Totalys.
