As a Security Officer – Manufacturer in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense. This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. At Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security‑related incidents, and support access awareness through a visible presence while delivering outstanding customer service and communication with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time – Wed 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thu 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, executing security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting details and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and visitor authorizations in accordance with site policies for a controlled location.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating observed issues, following post orders, and assisting with security‑related inquiries and directions.

• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, and a valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
