Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Full Time in Tucson, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Wednesday: 02:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- Thursday: 02:00 AM – 06:30 AM
- Friday: 02:00 AM – 06:30 AM
- Saturday: 04:00 PM – 09:00 PM
- Sunday: 04:00 PM – 09:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document details and communicate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, dock doors, and perimeter routes to identify unusual activity or security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and vehicles, verify credentials and delivery information, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or policy‑related issues to site leadership.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing shipping and receiving areas, noting damaged property or access concerns, and completing required reports before the end of each shift.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
