• Operate independently providing expert-level data exfiltration investigative capabilities.
• Plan and conduct Data Exfiltration investigations producing sound outcomes/determinations that withstand judicial or administrative scrutiny.
• Write detailed, highly professional reports summarizing investigative steps and actions.
• Conduct employee interviews, including challenging subjects suspected of wrongdoing.
• Securely store all relevant case artifacts in the Resolver Case Management System.
• Collaborate with CI&I members, GSS colleagues, and cross‑functional partners.
• Provide timely feedback to Enterprise Services to refine tools and processes for identifying potential indicators of concern.
• When required, report adverse information about cleared employees to FSOs per reporting obligations.

• A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of related experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with User Activity Monitoring (UAM), SPLUNK (SIEM) and Endpoint DLP or similar tools used in Insider Threat identification and mitigation.
• Experience identifying, collecting, and analyzing data/metrics for leadership.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems, networking, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and O365.
• Understanding of core cybersecurity principles:
  Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability.

• Certification by a federal credentialing counterintelligence or investigative agency.
• Prior law enforcement experience.
• Hands‑on experience with investigations involving CI, SCI, SAP, and/or ITAR/EAR violations.
• Familiarity with DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1‑4 and DoD 5200.01 Volumes 1‑3, and the incident reporting process in accordance with DoD 5200.01 volume 3.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual.
• Familiarity with computer forensics methodologies and techniques.

Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
