$17.50 per hour

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
• Be prepared to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random tours around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during tours.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while conducting rounds.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

• Availability across various days and shifts.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.
• Agreed upon availability to work the specified shift times.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
