Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol at Allied Universal Tucson, AZ

Position Overview

Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol (Part‑time, Tucson, AZ). Pay: $17.50 per hour.

Shift schedule:
Monday 3:00PM–7:00PM;
Tuesday 3:00PM–7:00PM;
Friday 3:00PM–7:00PM;
Saturday 12:00PM–4:00PM;
Sunday 12:00PM–4:00PM.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

• Arizona Security Professional Guard Card preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• A valid guard card or license preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions
