- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, following site protocols for visitor processing, deliveries, and/or contractor access.
- Support security‑related operations by completing required logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and by communicating clearly during routine and elevated situations.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
