Sr. Supervisor, Security – Raytheon
Location: Tucson, AZ (1151 E Hermans Rd, BLDG 842)
Security Clearance Requirement: Active and existing Top Secret DoD clearance required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
This role is onsite and supports research and development laboratories and office environments. Periodic travel within CONUS may be required.
Responsibilities- Lead as the Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officer (CSSO) for a specific program and supervise a small team of early‑career security professionals.
- Serve as the program’s focal point for all security matters, interfacing with industry and government representatives to uphold government security policies and enable program leadership.
- Assist in the development, administration, and maintenance of the program’s security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part
117 NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD
705, JSIG, and Raytheon‑specific security policies. - Administer security procedures in accordance with applicable government policies for classified (SAP) environments.
- Supervise, coach, schedule, and evaluate the performance of the security team.
- Set schedules, tasks, and priorities; collaborate with Security Manager(s); and report relevant program security status.
- Develop, prepare, and implement program‑specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, transportation plans, test plans, and equivalent approvals.
- Conduct and participate in internal reviews and government compliance inspections.
- Maintain and facilitate accreditation of secure facilities in line with ICD
705 standards. - Implement media control and material accountability processes per government policies.
- Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and suppliers via DD Form
254 or other contractual methods. - Offer security education, awareness, and training—create and present SETA materials, program indoctrination briefings, and security status updates.
- Serve as the primary representative and speaker for program security matters at meetings.
- Oversee visitor management, escort procedures, and support testing, shipment, and storage of classified materials.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare reports detailing potential loss or compromise and associated risk to the program.
- Ensure a valid driver’s license and fulfill any other specific requirements.
Develop expertise in establishing new SAP programs and secure facilities, managing program security from inception to maturity, and gaining insight into Raytheon’s contract execution with government and industry customers.
Qualifications- A University Degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

5205.07 is preferred. - National security experience and training with DCSA, CDSE, and certifications such as Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) are preferred.
Salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
