About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Ironworker II with advanced foundational skills in welding and iron working. This role builds on Ironworker I responsibilities and is suited for individuals who demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality, while continuing to grow within the trade.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced iron working and welding tasks with minimal supervision
Interpret advanced drawings and specifications
Set up, fit, square, and tack components to exceed quality standards
Demonstrate strong attention to detail in layout, welding, and finishing
Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Support and model safe work practices for others on the job
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Use time efficiently to meet production and project requirements
Follow all company policies, including the code of ethics and employee handbook
Safety-conscious with an incident-free mindset
Sets a positive example for others in safety practices
Excellent attendance and reliability
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Skills & Qualifications
Meets all qualifications of Entry Level Ironworker I
Ability to understand and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Ability to interpret advanced drawings
Exceeds quality standards in workmanship and finishing
Passed 1G & 2G welder qualification, or demonstrated expertise in rail and miscellaneous welding/finishing
Basic knowledge of AISC and AWS standard practices
Certified on E7018 rod and FCAW wire
Entry-level role with increased responsibility and skill application
