Electrician

Location: Southern Arizona
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Electrical Superintendent / Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support commercial, industrial, and government construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in regulated environments, the ability to read and interpret construction documents, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and government facilities
  • Perform work in accordance with NEC, local codes, project specifications, and contract requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switch gear, lighting, and control systems
  • Coordinate work with supervisors, other trades, inspectors, and client representatives
  • Perform testing, commissioning support, and documentation as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
  • Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Support projects that may require background checks, badging, or security clearances
Required Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to work from drawings, specifications, and work orders with minimal supervision
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Valid driver’s license/real  reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (required for government work)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on government, military, healthcare, or mission-critical facilities
  • Experience with low/medium-voltage systems, fire alarm, or controls
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one (if applicable)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
