About the Role

As a Field Equipment Lube Technician
, you’ll play a key role in keeping Meridian’s fleet of heavy construction equipment running at peak performance. You’ll service machines directly in the field, ensuring job sites stay productive, safe, and efficient. This is a travel-based role with steady work, great benefits, and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform field lubrication services and routine maintenance on heavy construction equipment
  • Keep accurate, DOT-compliant maintenance records and logs
  • Inspect equipment and report issues before they turn into costly breakdowns
  • Follow all safety and environmental standards
  • Travel between project sites across AZ, NM, and CO
A Day in the Life
  • Review equipment service schedules and site priorities
  • Travel to assigned job sites with maintenance tools and supplies
  • Perform lube services, fluid top-offs, and oil sampling
  • Inspect equipment for issues and communicate findings to supervisors
  • Submit digital service logs and prep for the next service cycle

  • Maximized equipment uptime with fewer breakdowns
  • On-time completion of scheduled lube and maintenance tasks
  • Clear, timely communication with supervisors and field crews
  • Strict compliance with DOT, safety, and environmental standards

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years’ experience maintaining or servicing heavy equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage time well
  • Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight when needed
