Maintenance Service Person – Retirement Community

Pay: $18 per hour (during temp status)

Our retirement community is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Service Person to support daily facility operations and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. This role requires strong general handyman skills and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance tasks. HVAC certification is not required .

• Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
• Manage and complete work orders promptly
• Perform general handyman duties, including:
• Light plumbing (fixtures, leaks, drains)
• Basic electrical repairs (switches, outlets, lighting)
• Carpentry tasks (doors, cabinetry, trim)
• Painting and drywall patching
• Appliance troubleshooting
• Assist with maintaining common areas and outdoor spaces
• Support unit turnover preparation (repairs, touch-ups, minor fixes)
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
• Provide courteous, respectful service to residents and staff

• Prior experience in general maintenance, facility services, or handyman work
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across basic trades
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Good communication and friendly customer service attitude
• Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical duties
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but NOT required
• Ability to pass standard background requirements

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
