Responsibilities
- Identify customer’s termite problems and use knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
- Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
- Communicate to customers critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and any supplemental structural modifications
- Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
- Complete production forms documenting services provided
- Interact with customers and explain services provided
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp, and dusty locations
- Prepare the job site for treatment and enter/exit structures and crawl spaces
- Climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders, including working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
- Work on roofs and high areas as required
- Perform general labor tasks such as carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic work (experience is a plus)
- Move frequently, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces and narrow aisles
- Clean, shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided)
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Licenses or certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by employer)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) and ability to follow instructions for mixing products on labels
