Job Overview

Maintenance Mechanic – JLL

Ensure operational excellence of JLL‑managed facilities by supporting inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties.

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipment.
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
• Execute general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors.
• Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair as directed by management.
• Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, and change filters and belts to ensure optimal system performance.
• Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems and submit P‑card receipts daily.
• Comply with all safety procedures, complete required safety trainings, conduct vehicle safety inspections, and promptly report issues to customers and managers.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 1–3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Valid licenses as required by local authorities.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, and climb ladders up to 30 ft. while carrying a tool bag weighing ~20 lbs.
• Capacity to work in adverse conditions including extreme cold and hot environments.

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with Hazard Assessments and compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes or laws.
• Knowledge of hazardous material storage, use, and disposal.
• Defensive driving training or certification.
• Experience moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment within a commercial facility.
• Background in facility operations or property management.
• Basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems and building automation controls.

Location:

Tucson, AZ (On‑site). Shift: Wed–Sat, 6:00am–4:30pm.
