Mechanical Foreman

About the Position

Power Design is expanding into mechanical work and seeks a Mechanical Foreman to lead new projects, ensuring high quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role includes access to technology such as company-provided iPads, travel to a 16,000-square-foot training facility, and customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

• Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades, overseeing the assigned scope.
• Manage material and manpower, ensuring projects meet time and quality expectations.
• Enforce and promote high-quality and safety standards.
• Use technology (company-provided iPad and smartphone) to keep projects on schedule and exceed customer expectations.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope.

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active journeyman or master license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of the IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Basic computer and writing skills.
